For Miss Kitty, Lancaster Ohio is a wonderful place to do research. The folks in the Fairfield County Courthouse are very friendly & helpful. The courthouse is located on Main St. on the hill right after you go through the downtown section. It's on the right hand side going east. Lancaster, Ohio is the home of Anchor Hocking and Gen. Sherman, Civil War general. It has wonderful old homes and brick streets. Plan to stay awhile. You will love it there. Kay
