Hi Jeanne
As you can see, I am also researching Sheumakers, never mind the spelling.
I am extremely interested in your John Shoemaker. My gr. grandfather was
Emanuel Keller Sheumaker, there was a Samuel, also a George & a John who probably
came from Virginia. Can you tie your family into mine in anyway? Thanks for
your help.

Researching Brandt, Sheumaker, Anderson, Kagy, Mohler families
It has been several years since I have been on this list. I had thought that
about all of the research that was available had been covered for my
families. However, now I have a feeling that a marriage took place there that I had
not located. I need to check and see if anyone has available to them marriages
performed in the 1880s.
The information that I have received says that George W. Bowers and Mary Jane
Schumaker were married on 22 December 1881. I have feeling that the marriage

Some time ago, I sent for two death certificates I thought were part of
my genealogy, but they aren't the ones I was looking for. If you are
interested in them, please contact me. Both were from Fairfield County.
I can scan and send if you are related to either family. If there is
someplace I can enter these to help others, please let me know.
I still need information on a Mary (Miller, Rader) Winegardner, born
about 1835 in Fairfield Co. and a William Lawrence Miller born about 1858
in Fairfield Co.
Is there anyone who might be able to get
me a copy of an obit for Fairfield Co.
I would like an obit for Margaret Ann Kramer
who died at Carroll, Ohio 14 March 1986.
Please contact me offline, regarding payment
for expenses.
Thanks

Hello,
I am a descendant of Joseph A. McCleery and wife Helen Shepler. Information
I have says he died in Fairfield Co., 27 May 1853 and that they married there
in Oct. 1818.
Does anyone have cemetery records that might tell where he was buried, or
marriage records that would confirm and perhaps give any more info on their
marriage? Or is the information available on the web?
Helen moved to Cumberland Co., IL and died there in 1876. There is also a
Philip Shepler who died in Cumberland Co., IL an
Would someone have access to a Fairfield Co. marriage index and be kind enough to check to see if there is a marriage for Frederick Mollenhour (various spellings) to Eliza (?) Her maiden name may have been Philips.
Thank you,

Jeanne,
If you ever get more info on the Sheumaker/Shoemaker family from Fairfield or
Perry Co. I would appreciate hearing from you. My immediate family stayed in
those areas. My gr. grandfather was Emanuel Keller Sheumaker. Good luck
with your search. Kay

I thought this might be good time to ask again if anyone has any information
on the parents of Daniel Friend who was born Mar. 8, 1827, possibly in
Fairfield Co., Ohio and died April 23, 1911 in Allen Co., Ohio. He married
Lavina/Ravina Fasnaught/Fosnaught Nov. 8, 1849 in Fairfield Co., Ohio. He
served in Co. I, 43 Reg. of the Ohio Vol. Infantry in the Civil War. I have
his Civil War pension papers and there is no clue as to his parents. In the
1850 census, he is listed in Fairfield Co., living near his

In the 1860 census for Scioto Twp., Pickaway Co., OH there is a John Keys, a
32 yr. old farmer from Germany married to a Martha. Their children are 8,
5, and 3 yrs. old. If the children belong to both they were probably
married at least 8 yrs. Is there someone that can do a marriage look-up for
me and let me know if there is a Pickaway Co. marriage record for a John
Keys or Keyes to a Martha (?) around 1851ish? Any assistance will be
appreciated. Thanks.
