The Yeoman family settled in Fayette County in 1816.
I'm looking for information on Gilbert Yeoman (son of
Stephen Yeoman and Abigail Fountain) born about 1785
in Orange Co, NY; died in Henry Co, IA in 1845). He
married Anna Sweazy about 1816--I don't know where.
Their daughter, Amanda was born about 1819 in Fayette
Co, OH, most or all of their many children were born
there.
Thanks,
Christina
