STONER Family Abraham and Mary (Knapp) VAN SCOY were born in Westchester County, New York, in the late 1700s. In the 1830s they moved to Huron County, Ohio. They were preceded to Huron County, Ohio, by her father Brundage KNAPP and later joined by his first cousins, Cornelius and James Van Scoy. In 1853 Abraham and Mary's daughter Abigail Harriett married Joseph EDDY in Huron County, Ohio. In 1870 they were living in Union Township, Branch County, Michigan. 2. Email Governor Taft to stop the 1700% price increase for birth & death certificates [1]
IMPORTANT info for genealogists -- cost of Ohio birth & death certificates may go from $1 to $17. Your immediate action is necessary if we are to have any chance of stopping this increase. Email Governor Taft to stop the 1700% price increase for birth & death certificates. If Governor Taft signs the bill, then you should immediately contact your state senators and representatives and ask that they sponsor legislation to roll back the price increase and reinstate uncertified copies at reduced cost. Mark, You have done a terrific job with this website. I have enjoyed all of the photos of Fulton County and have printed the article about the Underground Railroad. My late father, Frank Thomson Ashenfelter was born and raised near Swanton. In fact, there is an Ashenfelter family reunion each summer at the Swanton park. Thanks so much for all your work. Thanks so much for all of your work. Great pictures. I really appreciate seeing them. Old photos are always so precious. If anyone out there remembers anything at all about the Halsey or the Kime family, I'm still interested. The Fulton Couny Marriage Register has your mother as Eunice Curtland that married in 1926 to Frank T. Ashenfelter. I have heard the surname but never knew anyone of that name nor have I run into the surname doing research. I do a lot for Fulton County though most is pre 1900 that I have studied. When did your father's family come to Fulton County and where exactly did they live? I have a lot of family all around Swanton and my wife came form that area as well. The web pages are always under cons

Note On some computers, depending on resoultion, screen size and browser you may need to open your browser view to full scree which for Internet Explorer and Netscape is done by just pressing the "F11" key on top row of your key board. Then press F11 key again when you want to exit. Also depending on the speed on your internet service it may not work well on dial up connections but should do OK on highspeed connections. With 94 pics it does take a few minutes to load enough to start to run. Agian

17. [OHFULTON] Arnberger/Smith in Swanton/Toledo area OH [1]
I would like health information about the Jennie Smith/Franklin Arnsberger family of 1900-1930 in Swanton Creek/Toledo time frame. I have a death certificate for Jennie and want to verify that she is a Smith, daughter of Henry T or L. and Hatte B. Smith, sister to George A. Smith. On the 1930 Census, her daughter was Frances L. Fligor, who was the informant on Jennie's death certificate. Is anyone researching this family? Thank you in advance, Linda Swaney Sabin in Greene Co. OH *************

21. [OHFULTON] BIDDLE Family Photograph [1]
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mrs. S. C. BIDDLE which was taken at the Wm. Dunckleburg Studio in Wauseon, Ohio. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's with Mrs. BIDDLE likely in her 40's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding the woman in the photograph and her family: Mary Minnie MACK b. 17 Feb 1840 in Perrysburg, OH was the daughter of William MACK (b. 1803 in Donegal, Ireland) and Eliza BROOKS (b. 3
