Sorry 'bout the earlier msg w/attachment. I'm new at this. My great-grandmother, Margaret Ellen Kennedy, was born in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, on 30 May, 1865. I have been unable to locate her birth certificate from the city, county or state. Her mothers married name was Catherine Kennedy, born in Ireland (supposedly Co. Cork). 14. Spring Grove Cemetery Help [1]
I'd like to contact someone who is going to be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati. I understand that John Lewis Chiles (died in 1870's ?) is buried there in a large Chiles section (I heard 1/4 acre in size). I need to know what that one tombstone says because I have conflicting information. Who were the parents of Hezekiah MCMAKEN and Sarah Ann VANGORDEN? They were married in Butler Co., OH on 30 Aug 1832 by the Rev. David Layman. Hezekiah appears on the 1832 Personal Property Tax Duplicate for Union Twp. in Butler Co. along with several other McMakens but I have not been able to connect either he or Sarah with their parents.
