hi Earl! Thanks for the information on Gregor Roth and Elizabeth Schuler.
I noticed you helping someone with the Volksblatt Death Notice....Care to give my ROTHS a try?
Gregor Roth died April 25, 1911
John Gregor Roth died May 18, 1896
I'm sending off to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for that marriage record. Interestingly, the Holy Trinity Church that my ancestor (Gregor Roth) got married in was started in 1834. It is also known as Helige Dreieinigkeit as the ethnicity of the parishners were German.

Your e mail address fits you to a tee. You are a soother to your mother, a

you when you were a wee one. I loved your letter and I am filing it away

Also the 1900 census does not have Wards. So not to worry where the

Hello,
Does anyone have a book that would have a roster for the Ohio Civil War
soldiers? I am looking for two names that served from Brown County Ohio. I
need to get the regiment numbers for these two men.
Thanks for your help,
Janet
Better count on the 1900 census. There is almost no Hamilton County census
for 1890 and what exists is mostly next to impossible to read. Most of the
1890 census was destroyed by water from a fire.
