Would you be interested in the descendants of an Angeline Hodge (1847-1916) who married a George Washington Ream, Jr.? They were married 21 Jun 1866 in Hancock Co., Oh. and had 13 children. Unfortunately, Angeline Hodge's parents are unknown to me.
Sincerely,

Bill, the G-H is a Mennonite/Amish (Anabaptist) publication/newspaper with marriages, deaths, & news in it. It has been printed in one form or another since some time in the 1800s. It was used to keep the Mennonite/Amish relatives informed of what was happening in the other Anabaptist settlements. Note: most of the Amis

Steve,
Thank you for that information on the Gospel Herald! Would you know if the Mennonite parishes might have kept local copies of these publications? Or, assuming you are familiar with northwest/northcentral Ohio, would you know if old copies of the local Gospel Herald might be found in the Ohio Northern library

Bill, do a Google search for Gospel-Herald, a lot of them are on the internet. If you can't find the one(s) you need, I will try to help. I am a member of the Lancaster-Mennonite Historical Society & The Mennonite Family History Society. My wife, her family on both sides are either Mennonite or Amish & some Brethren

Just a roll call type post, and a request for suggestions. Nathaniel and Ann
(EMMONS) OSBUN were my 3rd Gt. Grandparents, and were living in Hardin Co.
about the 1840's. Nathaniel died in 1846, and his will is on file in the
Probate Court. I descend from Nathaniel's son Jacob E., and his son George
(Civil War veteran, 45th OVI).
Jacob E. Osbun (or Osborn) was born about 1809 (locality unknown), and died
31 Dec 1877. His name appears in the county Death Register for that date.
Jacob seems to have left no
