Hi Peggy, I'm quite sure her husband was John Leoffert, but I'm not positive. They had three children, John, Louise and one other. Her husband died young and she married Phillip Ettel in 1871.

The parents of my Hattie Mae Strimple are Benjamin and Mary "Valentine" Strimple. As of now I don't have anything that points to where the family was from.
Hi Sandy,
I was wondering if you were getting this listing from the "Old Kenton Newspaper Death & Marriage Notices" compiled and published by the Hardin County Chapter Genealogy Society?

This is a great list! I now have the information from the Hardin County
history on Josiah Hawn. I'd still love to make contact with anyone that has
connections to his family, though.

I know the Hardin County 1883 history by Beers has something on Josiah Hawn
and his wife Sarah Wigle. They were married in Union County in 1858. Their
children were Matilda, John W., Thomas, Phebe, Sarah L., and Florence
according to the book. I can't remember if the book gives Sarah's parents
or not. I'm interested in anything on this family and willing to share what
I know.

Sandy,
I would like to know if you have an Ephraim or Elmer Loudenslager in you

probably had ties to the Hardin and Wyandot Co. areas. Thanks

also online at www.heritagepursuit.com . Just scrool down and find Hardin
Co. I found Josiah in Dudley Twp. Good luck in your hunting.
