I am hoping that some kind soul who lives in, or has
access to, Henry Co. records can come to my aid. My
proverbial brick wall is my ggrandfather, John
Christopher Miers. He married Lydia Louisa Foster. My
grandmother, Julia Ann Myers (Scott) Gentzler (note
the spelling change from Miers to Myers) was born,
according to her obit, near Columbus OH on July 12,
1859. Now, I realize that Henry Co. is not near
Columbus, however I have found a mention of a marriage
record for John C. Miers and Lydia S. Foster in

All, the Henry County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society publishes it;
it was pretty cheap, PO Box 231, Deshler OH 43516. I was sure they had a web
page but can't find it now.

In a local store I found a beautiful picture post card of a lovely young lady in a studio post that contained information on the back that might be familiar to someone in your county.It is postmarked in June of 1913 from a town in northwestern Ohio.....
