Need help in locating the Obituary/Date of Death/and Gravesite location of
Sarah Ella Griffiths Beach (Gr-Gr Grandmother). She was the wife of Newton
M. Beach of Jackson Twp., Paulding Co. OH. She is listed with Newton and
family in the 1870 c but not in the 1880 c and he is listed as widower. If
anyone has direct sources in Paulding Co. it would be wonderful to hear from
you. Also, if anyone is working on the Ohio ''Griffiths Family'' tree, I
would appreciate knowing the parentage of Sarah Ella. T
I am looking for the deaths and place of burial of William Wesley sharpe,
born 1870 in Lambton County, Ontario and his wife Ada "Addie" Maria Sharpe (nee
Hazel), born 1874 in Ontario. They married in Canada and had at least 3
children. Two of their sons died in Toledo, Ohio so I am taking a guess that
william and Addie also went to Ohio as I cannot find them on the Canadian census
after 1901.
Any help would be most appreciated.

If you have a PENLEY ancestor from Maine or Massachusetts,
you are probably a descendant of our progenitor. Please read
the information about Joseph 1 PENLY and check the known
surnames below that are connected to his descendants. A number
of our descendants made their way westward, passing thru OH
as early as before 1850. And some of them were no longer PENLEY's
by the time they passed thru OH.
Make your plans now to attend the PENLEY Reunion
at 2 PM, Sunday, 8 July

Need help in locating proof of marriage of Newton M. Beach and Sarah Ella
Griffiths. They were married in Porter Twp. in Delaware Co by a Henry D.
Davy. The marriage was filed at Mt Gilead, Morrow County, OH. No date given
although the first child was born in May of 1861. I would speculate that
the marriage was in either 1859 or 1860. Is there a Lister who has access
to Morrow Co. Courthouse records and could help me? Thanks in advance for
any information. Eve in NC

Regarding Sarah Ella GRIFFITHS, just read Civil War Disability Claim. ''Wife
died Union County, Ohio before 1880.'' Declaration of Pension was made 6 Aug
1873 when living in Broadway, Union County, OH. Hope this helps.

Anyone out there in Ohio researching the MASTERS or SLOAT families??
I do have a lot of Masters info on the family of my line, Stephen Masters b
1754 NJ d 1835 Nimishillen, Stark Co., OH. Marr. Judith SLOAT b 1764 NY d
1856. They had 12 children who married into OLMSTEAD, STOKES, SHOE,
BALDWIN, LEWIS families.
My main concern is Judith SLOAT. I have not been able to find her parentage
or any siblings. I do believe she is part of the vast SLOT/SLOAT family but
cannot find a connection.
