Does anyone have access to the 1830 and 1840 census?
Looking for Roberts in Licking Co., OH. I am working from a census index,
but am pretty sure that my ggggrandfather, Luther J Roberts m Phoebe Jaeger
are on the 1830 census in Newton Twp. There is a Charles Roberts listed in
the same township also who may be related - know nothing about this Charles,
but the name Charles does show up in my line. This line has a bad habit of
having many children, only one of which survive - doesn't leave me with a
lot
The 1820 census listed a Benjamin REDDEN in Licking Co. Does anyone know
anything about this family? I'm trying to track a Benjamin
REDDEN/REDDING who disappeared from New Brunswick about 1820, and whose
wife later died in Iowa.

I am currently doing research on the the Underground Railroad and am
seeking more information on a case from Newark, Ohio, in 1849-50.
In August 1849, two fugitive slaves, Adam Hall (or Mendenhall) and his
half-brother, Patrick Sneed arrived in Newark, Ohio. Sneed left after a
few days but Hall remained and married. In August, the sherriff received
notification that Sneed and Hall were wanted in Georgia in connnection
with a murder of a man in Savannah. Hall is briefly arrested, then
rearrested in December

me?
On 5 Feb 1826 a Robert Anderson marries
Violeta Davis in Licking Co, Ohio. In 1830
there is a Violetta Anderson listed as a head

I am looking for any further information about Lillian Sellers, who married John Pyle on 10/31/1872. John Pyle was born in Licking County, Ohio on
3/15/1847. Their descendants include William Pyle (b. 1875), and Ivan Lamar Pyle (b. 1899). I would be glad to share the information that I have on this

I have rason to believe that my Rian family originated from Licking Co.,Ohio.
I have been unable to find anything about them other than Jacob Rian marrried
Sarah Hisey. This would have been in the mid 1800s. I believe Sarah Hisey was
the daughter of Johnathan Hisey and Sarah Smoots.
I would appreciate any information you may have on any of these families,
especially the Rian family. Family lore says that the spelling of the name
was changed due to a family argument but I have nothing to verify this.

Hi,
I am looking for a John Beaver (or Beever) born in Franklin County PA about
1793. He was a saddler in 1813. He is found, I believe, in Antrim, Franklin
Co, PA in the 1820 census. Shortly thereafter he moved to Licking County.
His sons David (1818) and Ignatius (1820) were born in Pennsylvania. Sons
John (1827) and Anthony (1832) were born in Ohio. I believe I find him in
the 1830 census in Bennington, Licking Co OH. In the 1840 census he is in
Henry Co IL as John Bever. I believe there was also a daugh
