I am looking for any information or relatives related to Richard Moore

and he was a harness maker.
Nora married an Ernest Gertz.

I am researching my Noble ancestors. My ggg-grandmother was Amelia Loretta
Noble (b. 15 Feb 1839 in Maumee d. 3 Aug 1921 in San Jose, CA). Her parents
were Philander Noble (son of Aaron Noble and Abigail Montgomery) and Mindwell
Gunn. Do you know of these particular Nobles? I would be so happy to be able
to add more information to what I already have.
Also are any of my distant relatives still there in Lucas County?
Thank you,

Hi, I'd like to locate descendants of Elisha and Mindwell (Carver) KENDALL
who are thought to have lived in Holland, Lucas County Ohio in the early
1800s. I believe Elisha may have died there in 1843. Any information
about this family would be greatly appreciated. Elisha was a brother of my
gr gr gr gr grandmother's brother. Thanks so much.
My name is Jadean (McConnell) Hopper, Columbus, Ohio. I am researching the
surname MCCONNELL. I have a William J. MCCONNELL b. June 1870/72 to Hiram
Franklin "Frank" and Sarah Jane (HALL) MCCONNELL probably in Harrison Co. or
Belmont County, Ohio. William married twice. First wife was Adeline "Addie"
WARFEL and the second wife was Ola M. COX whom he married in 1898 after the
death of Addie. There was a son Walter Marion born to William and first wife
Addie. After Addie's death the son was raised by Ad
I don't recommend screwing up all your requests for help, but it certainly
brought in a lot of response from folks "in the know" when, half asleep, I
sent out a request hunting for Kendalls and used the wrong names of the
folks I listed! My original message should have read:
"I'd like to locate descendants of Elisha and Mindwell (Carver) GUNN who

1800s....." At the time I wrote the original message I thought Elisha was

Mormon,I believe. She married BRUNTY, John T. (from Ireland?) and it is
believed that may have been in Susanville, Lassen Co., CA where she also gave
birth to her son, BRUNTY, John F. b. 21/04/1865, however, there seem to be no
records in Lassen Co. as it was a goldrush town. (The "F" in my Grandfather's
name stands for Francisco (as in San Francisco)
Beverly,
I too have relatives buried at Glenwood in Napoleon, even have a
photocopy of the pages from cemetery listings with their names---I
checked these (only have 2!) to see if I might find your folks, but to
no avail. I don't have the mailing address---my mom has a Napoleon
phone book and I can have her look it up for you and email it when we
find it, if that will help. Have you posted to the Henry Co. list? One
of the members is an officer in the Henry Co. Gen Society and has access
to cemetery lis
Okay, so now let's make another correction. NOPE, had the relationship
right, just wrote the wrong last name. Elisha Gunn WAS a brother of Mercy
Gunn. YES!
Thanks again for all your replies.
I am new to this list and I am wondering if anyone can answer the following
questions for me:
1. Does Waterville, Lucas Ct. Ohio have a cemetery? If so what is the
address that would have burials for Daniel A. Mohn, died March 5, 1898.
2. Does any one know where I would write to find the address of the
Glenwood Cemetery, I believe in Napoleon. I have reason to believe my
gggrandfather and gggrandmother are buried there. I am looking for David H.

Does anyone happen to have access to cemetery listings for Ottawa Hills
Memorial Park? I'm trying to find out if my great-great grandparents
are buried there.
They are:
Harvey M. GRANDSTAFF (1869-1943)
Hattie GLEASON Grandstaff (1874-?)
Their daughter and son-in-law (my great grandparents) William S. LANGLEY
& Ilma GRANDSTAFF Langley are buried there for sure and rumor has it, so
are Harvey & Hattie---just wanted to check and to see if Hattie's death
date is recorded.
Thanks for any assistance,
Cassie
I am interested in the ancestors of Mary Pitzen(1/1/1882 - 10-24-1903) who
married Fredrick Helfrich(11/14/1814 - 1-19-1874). They were married
5/5/1847. Both are buried in Richfield Township in Lucas County. Fredrick
Helfrich's parents may be Valentine Helfrich and Barbara Schwindt. Mary
Pitrzen's parents may be Adam Pitzen and Barbara Klassen.

I am going to Vital Records and Probate for Lucas Co. next week and
will look up Daniel A. Mohn for you.
We used to have a County Commissioner named Mohn about 43 years ago.
Perhaps he's a relative of yours. I can't remember his first name,
though. Maybe I'll think of it. If so, I'll pass it on to you.
