I am hoping if there is such a group, I might get some help researching my Zdill/Saint George Byzantine Catholic Church connections. I believe that the original members of Saint George were Ruthenian in heritage. I am told that Zdill is not a Hungarian name, even though Andrew Zdill was born in Hungary. I'm looking for info regarding TB sanitariums in Mahoning county. My mother spent her early years in one of these after she was diagnosed with the disease. She was born in Youngstown in 1920, but I'm not sure when or where she entered the facility. I believe it was during that decade or the early 1930's. I just found out that Saint George's Byzantine Catholic Church that used to be on Mahoning Ave. and is now on Canfield Rd. was the church my wife's grandfather Andras Zdill was attending.
