Hello, this is my first posting so forgive any things that sound stupid.
I am looking for specific information on my grandfather, Stewart W. HODGE
in Mahoning County, OH. According to the dedication page in his Masonic
Bible, he joined the Masons in 1926. I want to know if I can find out
what Lodge he was a member of and his ranking. Does anyone have this
information or know how to get it? I also would like to know if there
are people in Mahoning County who remember him?
Thanks for the help.
Hi Dave,
I have Sullivans and Houcks who lived in Dayton. While I think it is too
old to include my Sullivans, the Houcks may appear in the book. Could
you check, please? Most of those relatives were in Springfield, in Clark
Co., but some moved to Dayton at one time or another.
Thanks,
Ed Hagan

Hi Folks,
I received the following email from Mary Mullins, who has very
interesting web pages

about her work in Co. Galway, Ireland. I do not know if the request she
received is legitimate, but it sounds okay. Famous last words, eh?
In any case, I have no stories passed down from Irish emigrants to tell
Laurent. I thought that this list has a lot of brave souls who also have
Irish ancestors who may have emigrated during the famine. If so, give
Laurent a try. And let me know if thi

Hey,
Someone offered to look up some information for me last week. Some one that
volunteers at the courthouse on Thursdays. I have not heard from my helper
so I thought I would post and ask my helper to contact me.

Daughter Jane b. 1775 married Daniel Shehy/Sheehy the first settler of

Would like to make connection with anyone recognizing this family.

Is there anyone out there that can help me find information on
Barzilla and Sarah Turner from Coitsville, Ohio? Barzilla died after
1870 and Sarah died after 1860 and before 1870. I would gladly pay
for any assistance.
Is there a book at the library that would have a listing of the
cemetaries and who is buried there?
Thank You
Sheila

>From another list, I have found a Jane Doherty of Orange, Australia that
would like someone in Ohio to check a telephone directory for a cousin named
I. Price, at 225 Orchard Ave., Ceyatoga Falls, Ohio. She may have the
city name wrong, because to me it looks a lot like Cuyuhoga Falls. In any
case, would some one on this list check it out for our friend from down under
and send her a reply? Bob Harris, Fenton, MI
Hi Dwad

Steven,
I am researching Hofmeisters. I was in Ohio last week and my sister and
I went to several cemeteries. I wrote down the name Gottlob Hofmeister
at the cemetery in East Palestine (Columbiana County). Birth date is
July 30, 1818 and death date is Aug 23, 1911. I can probably get an
address for the cemetery if you think this is who you are looking for.

I would like to find out what details there are about the following deed
transactions that are recorded in the Mahoning Co. Courthouse:
In 1910 Elias Beckman selling to Lovina Beckman vol. 160 p.588 for $1 and
other considerations
In 1917 Beckman Arthur G., et al to Ray P. Beckman Vol 228 p.417
I really have no idea what kind of other information might be there but I am
grasping at straws about this family.
I also have a couple marriages that I would like to locate but I have no
ideas about the dates.
Hello All, I know this is not genealogy but I am trying to help get the word
out about this.
A little girl has been missing since Monday, April 26, 1999 from the
backyard of her Ohio home.
they have placed a webpage up about it if you would like to read the latest,
or if you would like to print up fliers. This looks to be a stranger
abduction.
Please help if you can.
