I have a couple of photos of Hulbert. I heard he was just a farmer. He would go to town sometimes in the evening. I would have to dig but I believe I have death certificate and marriage license.

Sue - I can find William King in Jefferson Twp in the 1870 census. No sign
of Lemuel Cottrell. William's wife Louisa was a Cottrell??
I wonder if this Lemuel is the same as the John Lemuel Cottrell I was told
who was the father of Rev George Cottrell of Darke Co. who married my
great-great grandmother's half sister Caroline York???? I was told George's
parents were from Greene Co. and were John Lemuel Cottrell and Catherine
Reaves. George was born in 1819 so maybe he was a brother to Lemuel???

Chances are that this obituary was published in the Rockford Press, which
was a weekly newspaper published in Rockford from late 1800's until 15 or
20 years ago. The Mercer County Public Library at Celina has the
microfilm. Perhaps the Ohio Historical Society at Columbus would have it also.
If you have no access to either of these, let me know and I will check the
next time I get to the library which might not be for a couple of weeks.

Hello,
As far as I can tell, Johann Heinrich Heckmann is my g.g.g.g.
grandfather. I have some question about the birthdate of my g.g.g.g.
