I am not a descendant of anyone who served on USS FRANKLIN, but I am a Navy

please let me know. Perhaps I could acquire it for the historical collection
that the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps is developing.

Roberta,
I copied the 1850 Mercer Co. census, when our chapter put into book form.
these Frank families listed their birthplace as NY. Living in the same area
and intermarried with the Frank family are the MaLosh, Burch, and Downing
families.
All of these seem to be from NY.

Wally,

stood in line 50 minutes. Paul Counterman never had an enemy in the world

Donna,
I assume you have already checked with the library in Celina. They have an
index of obituaries back into the 1800's.
You might check with the Ohio Historical Society library in Columbus.
Microfilm roll #28593 is the Mercer County Standard newspaper for
3/1-5/15/1965. They will research for a reasonable fee. Check out their
website at http://www.ohiohistory.org/
Good luck,
Penny

I'm not primarily researching the FRANK surname but have picked up some FRANK

wondering if the Solomon FRANK I have is the Solomon you said was a son of
Stephen and Margaret? My main info is as follows:

Hello,

of a Frank marriage there ca 1837, maybe there is a link to you or some
info re family. I'll ask another researcher if she has any more Frank
info. It is not one of my surnames.
