Has anyone ever combed this paper (publ. at Woodsfield) for earlier obituaries, all surnames ? I've seen a few hit/miss quotes from same, but nothing complete. Seems to me that would be a good idea, because of the 1867 fire (no marriage records before that time). I see the Ohio Hist. Society will lend the microfilm out at $3.00 a roll, which is quite reasonable, on interlibrary loan. Comments ?
