Maria B. RUSH/RUSK was born ca 1824 in OH. In 1847 she married Edward Gatwood in Saltcreek Twp, Muskingum Co. Her mother was Catharine who married James FULK Oct 1833 in Muskingum. It appears that Catharine may have been a widow but I have not found any marriage for a male RUSH/RUSK to a Catharine. In the 1830 census there were three RUSH/RUSK families in Muskingum Co: Enoch in Salem Twp, Enoch in Union Twp and James M. also in Union Twp. Does anyone have any information that an help me? Philip or John Coleman/Kuhlman, perhaps of Bedford or York County may have been with the Bowman/Bowser party that went to Warren/Montgomery County, Ohio in 1798. I have an old note - Courtesy Muskingum Chapter DAR the location of the Moore-Horn Cemetery. The cemetery is located in Newton Township, Muskingum County, Ohio. From Rt 345 two miles south of East Fultonham, or off Rt 22 take Rd 88 twn left across R.R. and creek. Cemetery is across field to left in sight behind farmhouse. Is this correct?
