If you know the date she died, the Sapulpa Library has the past newspapers from where it would have been announced by the funeral home.
If not, there are people there that could help. Some of the obits they have is filed by name. They also charge 25 cents for a copy of it.

Unfortunately there are several problems with your question.
Tulsa is located in Tulsa county not creek county and the 1890 federal census does not exist for Indian Territory which is what Oklahoma was until 1907. Which means Creek County and Tulsa county neither existed in this time frame either.
The 1890 census whic

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me. One of these days, when gas
prices go down or I get richer, I plan on expanding to Olive and other towns
in Creek County. Right now I stay pretty close to home, or if I have other
things to do in a town, I grab my camera and make a day out of it lol.

There is not a written cemetery listing for the cemeteries in Drumright.
The man in charge, Cam Bookout, fire captain, could give us the directions to
find our ancestor, but told us there is no list available.
There are three cemeteries, South, North, and Oak Hill.

Dear Ms. Dunn,
Thank you for walking those cemeteries. It's a great contribution. I'm
speaking for those who haven't written to say, "We appreciate it."

Lauri,
Did you find the obit in the Drumright paper for Wayne Rowell? He passed away sometime right around Memorial Day weekend. He was Perry and Faye's son.
Kind regards,

Does anyone know the burial location for Malinda BURGESS? Her son, James Wiley BURGESS lived in Terlton, OK. He and his wife have large marked stones there, in a much larger curbed area in the cemetery. Nothing else is marked, though there is plenty of room for more family members. If you have access to the cemetery records, I would certainly appreciate a lookup. Thank you.

Bobbi,
Thank you for the suggestion. I actually had already found the obituary on the index at the site you listed below, but the issue it lists wasn't available yet at SmallTownPapers.
However, I also tried emailing SmallTownPapers and they were very quick to respond and will actually be able to have the image up on their website tomorrow.
It's a great site!
Thanks again
Lauri
