There are many Coonfields in Ellis County. The first 3 I name are in Higgins Tx. The reason being is in 1930 ther was a supreme court decision that declared that part of Ellis County was actually Texas. 1. John Samuel Coonfield , his son George De and his wife Annie Elizabeth Coonfield. 2. Aubra and Audra twins ,children of George De and Annie. 3. Florence, wife of Aubra is still living. I just spoke to her.4. Roy Cecil ,my Grandfather passed away in Wichita Ks.5 Lester Lee , 6. Effie Smith in Ellis
