I am searching for information about my ggrandmother. She was said to be part Indian. Some said Cherokee and some Choctaw. She was born - 2 Jan 1860 in Missouri married John William Russell Ross - 9 June 1879 in Cooke Co., TX died - 21 May 1929 and is buried in Chickasha, OK. They had nine children. Her parents were Jonas A Puntch and Susan Jane Rhodes said to be from Illinois. On the 1910 census showed John and Matilda to be in Coleman Co., TX.
