I ran across a kinship report on Family Tree Maker that I have never seen
before. The headings were as such:
Name Relationship with (Name Given) Civil Canon
My question if someone knows is what does the "Civil" and "Canon" stand for?
Like I said this is a new one for me.
Thanks for the explanation.

I tell you what. Anyone who does not think these greens
are poison send us a e-mail and let us know what are
your favorite flowers. There is a reason for its
reputation and I would not be the one to scoff it off.
I know that my Dad was American Indian and he would not
eat them as he said they were not safe, as he could not
remember what all his mother did to them but he did know
it took a long time to cook them and would not take a
chance on not doing it right.

Yes, you can get one. You just need to request an application & fill in the necessary info., send the money with them & if they locate it they'll send it to you. Sometimes you donate. :)
I've received birth certificates for my Uncles/Aunts, grandparents, etc.

Ellen - From 1908 to 1916 only sketchy records are
available.
You might want to visit
http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgenweb/vital/vital.html and
read through some of the information we have gathered
from various sources.
Because of the time period of the birth - very early
in Oklahoma record keeping days the state may having
nothing for various reasons.
Depending on when she died and if she had a reason to
file, you might find a delayed certificate filed with
the state.

The above listed site contains the names of children sent to America as indentured servants in the 1600's. These children were rounded up off the streets in England for one minor thing or another and transported to the colonies. I didn't find any of my brick walls but you might.
