I ran across a kinship report on Family Tree Maker that I have never seen before. Thanks for the explanation. Paula

I tell you what. Anyone who does not think these greens are poison send us a e-mail and let us know what are your favorite flowers. There is a reason for its reputation and I would not be the one to scoff it off. I know that my Dad was American Indian and he would not eat them as he said they were not safe, as he could not remember what all his mother did to them but he did know it took a long time to cook them and would not take a chance on not doing it right. Ellen - From 1908 to 1916 only sketchy records are available. You might want to visit http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgenweb/vital/vital.html and read through some of the information we have gathered from various sources. Because of the time period of the birth - very early in Oklahoma record keeping days the state may having nothing for various reasons. Except for Inez's name...we had nothing on the Haney's. My dad met both John and Inez in 1955. It was the first time he'd seen them since he was 4 yrs old, and it was the last time. My father's parents divorced when he was 3yrs old and at age 5, the family moved to California. I looked up the Coleman Haney in the SSDI and found him, a retired railroad worker. Today I sent for the application hoping to get both parents names. It said Tim was his and Inez's father....so I think they could be bro
