Tom & Ola Crain lived in the Cloud Chief community with their children Carl, Clarence, Troy, and Roy. The children were all under 6 years of age at this time. They migrated from Georgia early in the 1920s.
Clarence fathered 2 children, females, in the 1940s, but did not marry the mother. He moved back

I'm looking for information on a school in Rocky believed to have existed in mid 1930's. I've been told it may have been called Colony. Also told it may have been an Indian School. Would appreciate any thing some one can tell me about this school or the correct name of the school. Any information would be appreciated.

Well, sort of like that. Rocky is a town in southwestern Oklahoma, as is,
Colony. Colony is not the same as Rocky and there is no connection between the
two as far as I know. Colony was the town that had the Indian school.
Actually, the town was formed after the Indian School was started. You can see it
on line. There is a lot of information about it online if you look for it.
