Hi Jo, My first Cornelius came from Ireland and would have located in Brooklyn, NY prior to 1869 when the Second Cornelius was born. The third Cornelius was my father and he was born in Brooklyn in 1902. They did lack imagination as far as names, reminds me of George Forman. Ron >

Ron and Margarette, I have three Cornelius O'Learys in the families that I am researching. Two of them (father and son alnong with their whole family) came from County Cork to New Orleans in 1848 and went up the Mississippi River to Missouri where they settled. The third Cornelius arrived in Missouri in about 1852 or 53 and we think he is a nephew/cousin of the first arrivals.
