2. O'Leary: Wales> PA [1]
One of the lists I subscribe to recently asked all members to post their known direct descendants of the list family name. It sparked a lot of interest and sounded like a good idea. I haven't posted to list for a while so... Catherine was my great grandmother. She was probably born in south Wales, married John J. Marshall, had two (of nine) children, then immigrated to Allegheny Co., PA in 1867. Her father might have been Michael O'Leary, b. 1789, and she may have had a brother John, b. abt. 1860. Joh

I have a photo of Aaaron and photos of Sarah's parents, Thaddeus Hibbard and Sophia March. 6. Charles O'Leary [1]
I am seeking information on Charles O'Leary, born c. 1861 in French Village, Mo. Parents: Adeline LaHay and Cornelius C. O'Leary. He is in the 1880 census of Missouri, with his parents, at age 19. By the census of 1900 the parents and some brothers and sisters were located in Houston, TX, but Charles is not there. Family legend is that he and his wife Julia (Duetchmundy or similar spelling) went from Missouri to Pueblo, Colorado. We have a family photo of them, which includes three sons, one daughter (

The rootsweb archives are at http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl You need to know the mailing list name, in this case OLEARY-L, or just OLEARY. I responded to the mailing list because I thought this might be generally useful. It took us a while to realize that it was there. Happy hunting! -- Ann and Paul Kasameyer Livermore, CA
