At the time of the 1901 census they were living at Blackrock Rd, Bantry with six children - Ellen Kate (1884), Mary (1886), Hellen (1888), Cornelius (1890), Denis (1892) and John (1894). Hi listers, I am desperately looking for the birth of William O'Leary who was born in Cork, Ireland.. The year may be 1864/1865 or 1866, mother were Mary A Manning (possible) and father was William O'Leary (definate as stated in his 1887 marriage). Hello - I'm new to the list. Would like to share information on a Timothy O'Leary who was in New York City by the 1820s. Born abt. 1790/5 in Ireland, of course. By abt. 1836/8 he was in Orange Co., NY, in Buttermilk Falls (now Highland) near West Point. He died there in 1875. First wife's name unknown, second wife, Magdalena. Four known daughters. I have a Thomas O'Leary born circa 1825 Cork, married to a Catherine Downey, who was also born in Cork. I haven't found any rellies in Ireland, as both of them went to Wales for work during the early famine years. I wondered if yours might be from the same area because of the surnames.
