My O'Leary ancestors are from Killarney, Co. Kerry. My g-grandparents were
John O'Leary and Julia O'Brien who were married in Killeentierna parish in
1892. John's father's name was Timothy and Julia's parents were Patrick
O'Brien and Bridgett or Mary Crowley. They were all from the Kerry and West
Cork areas.
Now in Kerry I have cousins with surnames including O'Leary, Howard,
Collins, and Breen. In Boston I have cousins named O'Leary, Bornemann,
Ryan, Walsh and Daley. There are also relatives in New J
Since this is a new list, it is unclear who has information on
whom. I have moderate information, but am seeking more, on
the family of
Jeremiah (O')Leary (b1820 Co. Cork)
married 1835 to
Mary (O')Keeffe (b1818-1822 Co. Cork)
(I have baptismal record for Jeremiah and marriage record plus at
least two possible baptismal records for Mary, all from St. Mary's
parish in Passage West, which is just southeast of Cork City, but the
parish encompassed a fairly large area at that time).
