3. Re: Anglican burial records [1]
The OCFA lists as well as the OGS cemetery listings, are only transcriptions of gravestone inscriptions....NOT burial records. If your ancestor was too poor to afford a headstone/gravestone, or if the said stone no longer existed when OCFA & OGS compiled their records, you're out of luck, unless indeed you do find actual burial records, which were few & far between compared to christening & marriage records. I would suggest contacting the Anglican Church Archives for burial records. Colleen Andrews -----

Colleen: Did it occur to you to contact the LDS Family History folks? Since they are the ones that produce and sell the CD's, I would suspect they are the most familiar with any possible problems. 10. 1881 Canadian census technical difficulties [1]
I just purchased the 1881 Canadian census on CD-ROM from the LDS website. I already have the 1881 British census on CD-ROM, which came with Viewer 2.0. The Canadian census comes with Viewer 4.0, so I installed it accordingly, & it worked. The census installed correctly as well. But when I tried to actually view a census CD, I get "Viewer Error Run Time 7, Out of Memory" everytime. Why is this?? I've uninstalled & reinstalled 3 times & it makes no difference, & I have more than enough memory--192 MB of

14. 1881 Canadian Census problems solved [1]
Thanks to everyone who replied to my query about the technical difficulties I was having with the 1881 Canadian census & Windows XP. Yesterday, I heard the very sad news that Cecil Collacott of Bradworthy, Devon, had passed away in the Fall of last year.
