Hello, List, below is a list of 3 cemeteries we visited while on the TOGA Expedition last month.
Bev Crowe and I photographed the O'Neal stones we found at these cemeteries and then we transcribed the information.
I believe some of these O'Neal's belong to us, but haven't had an opportunity to check them out yet.
The Unknowns listed were obtained from double stone with spouse names that did not include maiden names.
If you see a link, please let us know..........

I found the gravestone for Samuel E. & E. Florence O'NEAL
in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery outside of Chaneysville
over the weekend. With all of the O'Neal's who were floating
around the area, I'm sure that he "belongs" to a local
family, I'm just not sure which one.
Also, there is a metal gravemarker (the one put up by the funeral
home) with "Baby Boy O'Neal" and "1952" on it.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jerry
Hello List.
Wondering if anyone can help in finding where Bernard O'Neale/O'Neill'Oneil
fits. Here, thus far, is what I have pieced together:
Bernard O'Neale was born in 1743 (calculated from death report), he died 18
November, 1815 at age of 72 (Died Sat. Nov. 18, 1815 at his residence in
Montgomery County. Bernard O'Neill in 72nd year. [Frederick Herald
11/25/1815, Diehl Index, Sween Library, Montgomery Co. Maryland]).
In 1789 in St. Mary's County, Bernard claims 1/3 of real estate (of Edward

Hi List,
This from the Julius West Middle School, Rockville, Maryland web site.
Eleanor O'Neale was the daughter of William and Sarah Young O'Neale.
Who was Julius West?
Julius West, the son of Thomas West and Eleanor O'Neale, was born Oct. 24,
1808, in Montgomery County, Maryland. He married Sarah Kidwell in 1844.
Julius West died in 1860 and as he had no children, he left a large bequest
for a school for poor children in the town of Rockville. He inherited the
old West homestead on the edge of Rockville,
Hi, Ron, As a result of your query, I began going through my information on Joseph.
Below is the documentation I was able to find.
Joseph, son of John O'Neale and Margaret Barton was born abt 1766.
I believe this to be true because we have two different census reports showing
John O'Neale & Margaret Barton with a son Joseph being born in 1776.
Source 1: Census
Census of Sugar Land Hundred, Frederick County, Maryland, taken September 2, 1776

Hello, List, I've been going over our information on John O'Neale who married Rachael Wood.
There is a lot of conflicting information on this John O'Neale. There is the John O'Neale who married Rachael Wood, then
there is the John O'Neale who married Sarah Gore.
The John O'Neale who married Sarah Gore died in 1783, and there is a will to support this. I have a copy of his will. He
left everything he owned to his wife, Sarah. He does not mention any children in his will. In addition to the will, I

While searching at Ancestry. Com I ran across "Maryland Records

Hello, List, a few hours ago I posted a list of tombstone
transcriptions.
After looking over the database I've found all most all the persons in
the Pleasant Grove Cemetery are ours. I suspect they all are, but so far
have only found 13 of the 18 persons listed.
Follow your tree down from Peter O'Neale married Sarah Sparks to
John O'Neal to
Edward O'Neal to
James Lawrence.
James is listed as James L. on the list.
The persons in this cemetery are his descendants and possibly some
cousins and/or siblings.
