Hi Arlene,
Thank you for Michael's URL. Yes, I have seen Michael's work and remarkably
have yet to find a connection between our families.
On a regular basis I am providing Oregon obit lookups for Marion County
(Salem area) back to 1855 and Portland area back to 1984. Once a month I
visit the State Library where I am able to retrieve obits for most areas back

they usually went to was considered too much of a drive at that time. This
community is located in Clackamas CO and is not too

March 21, 1853 (affirmed by Daniel Wyland with Samuel Gribble - my family)
so they must have been friends, if not related.
Also, Ezra Stout affirmed, together with Coleman, Bucker, and Mattias Riss,

you some lead, or it may be of absolutely no help!
