Yes Caldwells still exists. I suggest attempting to use both sources. The funeral home usually has some information, and sometimes the cemetery will have something the funeral home does not. Below is the address of Caldwells. >Oregon Funeral Homes >Portland >Caldwell's Colonial Chapel 20 NE 14th Ave (503)

I recognized the information. The ultimate failure of this site - failed to list source of the information and photographs. They're from a certain booklet reprinted by Baker City Herald newspaper! I am not too sure at this point. Where is Warren? In Oregon? My grandmother came to Oregon 1911 from LeMars, Plymouth Co., IA to Hillsboro, Washington Co., Oregon. There was a Buss family in LeMars, Iowa so I was trying to see if maybe these families were related somehow, possible marriage in Iowa or something. Opal signed as verification for my grandparents to marry. When I find out more I will get back to you. Per 1930 census, John's parents were born in Sweden. Regards, Sandy http://www.geocities.com
