4. Speaking of Coos Bay, Oregon [1]
In the 1940's and 1950's and early 1960's my great Uncle Leo Tremblay painted several murals around the town of Coos Bay. I believe some of them were in restaurants and drinking establishments as well as on the outside of buildings... I don't know if any of them survive to date but if they do I would love to hear of them... Also if anyone might happen to have a picture or a memory of them I'd love to hear/see them. Have a wonderful week and happy holidays to all. Sincerely, Deborah

12. Re: Fairview Hospital [1]
What is/was called Fairview State Hospital is the same one that house almost 3 thousand. Don't know if that included the staff that actually lived there in apartments they had for some employees. They also had farm land and several of the patients worked this farm. Just down the road, maybe about a mile, was the state reform school for girls. What we always referred to as the Oregon State Hospital was the mental hospital in Salem, the nut house as we called it when I was younger *Smile*.
