Muriano Guadalupe Vallejo Boggs was the son of William Montgomery Boggs and Sonora Hicklin Boggs. William was son of Lilburn W. Boggs (governor of Missouri) and Panthea Grant Boone, granddaughter of Daniel Boone..... not hispanic, but as they lived in California in a largely Spanish population, it's not surprising. 1939 Oregon obit no paper listed Funeral services were held on Monday for Floyd William Hayden at the Clatskanie Presbyterian church. He was born in Astoria on 21 Oct 1918 and spent his early boyhood in the Astoria and Veronia district. He graduated from the grammar school at Bradwood where the family then lived. Hello: I read your message and find that Hermiston is close to Pendleton. Do you, by any chance, remember a Campbell family. Frank Campbell was a dentist and Rose was a milliner. They lived in Pendleton for many years and were divorced in 1890. I am trying to find where Frank went after the divorce. I understand he was writing a history of Utah and lived there in 1921. After that his whereabouts are unknown. His death? Other marriage? etc. If you have any information, please let me know. Jean Bunch

Clyde, Cora McBean Chapman Billings died 20 Jan 1920 in Umatilla County. She is buried in Olney Cemetery here in Pendleton. Her Obituary appears in the Pendleton East Oregonian. The reader at the library is needing some repair so the copies are almost illegible. Cora was here from Walla Walla visiting family, her sister Caroline(Carrie) had died the day before. Both died of pneumonia. Will check with church and mortuary in the am and send more. Cora was listed as Rita's guardian on the FGR I sent you.
