The Old Swedes' Church documentation reveals:
1773, Oct 14, Fitzgerald, Alley, and Andrew Supplee.
Now just before this wedding some five years, there was another
marriage that looks suspiciously related!
Again, from Old Swedes'...
1768, March 14, Smith, Alley Fitzgerald, and Charles Proud.
Is anyone acquainted with these? I assume the SUPPLEE will possibly
be known by someone on this list, as the line intermingles with those
researched here, but I don't know about the others...

From a long list of tax records Barb Wentz compiled....
Tax Records: [Montgomery Co. PA Archives P microfilm of Tax Lists. These
lists start in 1785 (Montgomery County formed 1784 from Philadelphia County)
and did include acres; however Jacob was never taxed with acres]

Hi, Sherry!
It's been awhile since I have seen your name around. Seems like I have
corresponded with you before a couple years ago, when I was searching madly
for George Mayberry folks, thinking he was the father of my Israel Mayberry.
Was I wrong! Later I found that Israel's parents were Justinian Mayberry
and Mary Ann Houser Mayberry of Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland. I found
Mary Ann Houser's will that was recorded at Frederick, Md and I obtained a
copy and transcribed it to type easier to read,
I have a super picture of the house if you need a copy.
It's from Byways and Boulevards In and About Historic Philadelphia.
The chapter that the picture is in is an itinerary of sightseeing in
Philadelphia.

As you can see by the date of Frank's original message, I am a bit behind on
my list email!
I had a question about the children of Hannah DeHaven and Dirck Pennybacker,
since they are in my line of research. Hannah, born in 1737, would have
been 43 when she had Derick b.1780, after an apparent pause in childbearing
of 8 years (and she may have had several miscarriages or unlisted infant
deaths during those years). I realize this is not unheard of although
surely not common back then. Yet another child

It truly is a loss that the Kunders house was lost. One part that
survives though is the Protest Table on which the first protest against
slavery was signed. That table is displayed in the Historic Mennonite
Meetinghouse at 6121 Germantown Ave. Should you like to see it on your
next visit to Germantown, I would be glad to host you on a tour of the
Meetinghouse.
