2. pre 1900 obits and other death information [1]

Hope this isn't a duplication, but just realized I sent my first message to the "digest" rather than the list address. Are there archived records for Eugene area news paper obits, or coroners reports? What other death data is available for Lane Co.? How would I get information from these sources?
