My grandmother's death certificate says she was buried (1913) in Milwaukie Cemetery. I can't find a cemetery with that name in either Clackamas or Multnomah counties. Does it have another name? Can anyone tell me where it is? Many thanks.

Good Morning Listers:
Could you tell me if the Book mentioned in the Subject line is available
at the Oregon State Library.
I don't know the names of the stores, but my Mother and Father worked for
an uncle in a candy store in the Dalles, Oregon, during the 1920s, and I
would like to find some information on this store.
My parents later moved to Goldendale, Washington, and opened a candy
store there.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely:

Hi Chris
I live in Milwaukie. Any Milwaukie cemetery will be a historical cemetery.
Contact the Clackamas County Historical Society in Oregon City. I believe
that they have the Historical cemeteries published as to who is them.

I wonder if you mean Dallas, OR. which is in Marion County, or The
Dalles, OR. which is in Wasco County. Goldendale WA. is close to The
Dalles.

Hello, Laura from Seattle here, how is your summer going?
Have you been doing any ancestry trips? or anything new?
My Smith/Fudge have opened a web community on Family.com, really cool,
photos, calendars, birthdays, lists of email (which makes everything so
organized). They are mostly in Oregon.
As you know, we had our 35th Kennewick High Reunion at the Benton-Franklin
County Fairgrounds in Kennewick which was a blast because 3-4 generations
all came together. I found a guy who knew my step-father's fath

Did they work in The Dalles or Dallas? Dallas is in Polk County and The
Dalles is in Wasco county along the Columbia River. A lot of people get the
two names mixed up and think they are the same place.

The only 'official' cemetery in the city of Milwaukie is the Milwaukie
Pioneer Cemetery on SE 17th Avenue, next to Waverley Country Club.
Although the County Historical Society may have records of burials, the
Milwaukie Historical Society is very active and may be able to help you too.

In the 1926-27 R. L. Polk & Co. Marion County Directory P. 596, there is
under Confectioners-Retail, an Ettawa Store No.7 355 N. Commercial. My
grandparents was born in Etowah Co. but on my mom's delayed birth

candy store owned by my parents/grandparents - Sharp/McNeal. The time
frame is also right.
