Their children were Margaret (Nellie), married McCARTHY, James, married DOYLE, Mary "Mae" married JORDAN, Lucille, and Betty, married ROCHE. I

There seems to be a lot of activity here so I thought I would give my search a chance. My GG Grandfather John Thomas Loftus had a sister Mary Loftus O'Rourke. Mary was born in County Galway, Ireland and would sail to the states as a young woman. Mary was probably born between 1848 and 1852 and she died Jan. 31, 1894 in Sioux City, Iowa. Mary would settle in what was known as the south bottoms of Sioux City and worked as a laundress. The south bottoms was where the immigrants, former slaves and Indians
