Anyone researching Samuel Y. Cook, Oregon Pioneer, in Yamhill Co and later Union Co OR? Looking for descendants, and a possible death or burial record after 1901 in La Grande, OR. First wife was Martha Ann, who was born in Oregon prior to statehood. Second wife was Elizabeth Brower, born in Missouri about 1840, she came to La Grande, OR prior to 1879 from Wayne Co Iowa. Not sure if they married in Iowa or OR, or how they came to meet, as he was in Oregon as of 1846. I have a list of his children. Best

Oliver on 4-2-1895 La Grande, Union Co OR. Vol F, page 189 These 2 siblings are children of Elizabeth Brower and Samuel Y. Cook.
