I am trying to find descendants of Elza T. WOOD who was, at one point, married to Lyndall Celeste "Fannie" HEUSTON LUNDY WOOD CHAMBERLAIN (she married 3 times). At the time they married in June 1927, Elza was raising his 3 children from previous marriage. Elza and Fannie had a dau named Ardis Rose b 1929 or 30 but at the birth, they were separated and Ardis was given to family friends.
I only know the name of 1 of Elza's children and that is Doris. I have many pictures of the children and several of El
Looking for family related to the Pachette's, my father's family, and Parrish, my husband's father's family.
Lewis Pachette was married to Mary, they had four children.
The Parrish Clan is rather large, with many settleing in Oregon City, Clacakamas County, Oregon, but George Parrish may have lived in The Dalles area. There were brothers who piloted barges from The Dalles to Portland.
Thanks for checking,
Deborah

The "Oregon 1880 Federal Census Index" lists Francis Cuppy in "Wascounty (sic) County, Or, Hood River Precinct. Was Hood River part of Wasco County in 1880? Is there any significance to the spelling, "Wascounty County?" Does anyone have information related to Francis Cuppy, born abt 1840, in Iowa, mar to (Elizabeth) Barbara Anne Sears? I would appreciate any information. Thanks. Anne
This is such a great story that I just couldn't keep it to myself. It
was shared on another list. When I read it, I immediately thought of all
those cemetery listings I've typed up for Wasco County. There are lots
of mamas buried in those cemeteries...

I think you just hit some pay dirt. I knew there were some Parrish folks
listed somewhere on the Wasco Co. website, because I made a mental note
of them when I first listed them there. I have some Parrish ties, too,
and would like to talk to you about those off-list. At any rate, it
appears George was buried in Lone Pine Cemetery (although his surname is
spelled incorrectly on this listing, with only one 'r'), and so were a
couple of other Parrish folks. Here are the listings. I hope this helps.
