I knew the name Alling rang a bell. I have a Lydia Alling born Dec 26th 1656
in New Haven, Ct. who married Obadiah Wilcox. Her parents were John Alling
and Ellen Bradley. Their marriage date was Oct 14, 1652. John Allling died
1691. I am related through the Wilcox or Willcoxson side.
My maiden name was Osborn. I go back to Jeremiah, wife's name not known, who
lived in Virginia and whose land was surveyed by George Washington, then down
through his son John who married Elizabeth Claypoole.

Hello Bruce
I can't Place Emily and her family. My Osborn(e) family seems to have
settled mainly in Kent - Sydenham mostly with Orpington, Bromley and
St.Mary Cray. These areas are all Outer London. My Grandfather Sydney
Charles Leonard Osborn is said to have hailed from Yorkshire and That is
where I am in limbo. Sydney's father was Henry Weston (or wooten) bad
writing on certificate. Of Sydney's siblings and his mother I know
nothing.
Thankyou for taking the time to reply to my
