1. [OSBORNE-L] Bass (Columbus ?) Osborne [1]
Okay, so I'm grasping at straws......but here is the reason:. Bass Osborne b: ca 1878 and known to be married to Flona Cole. Bass and Flona Cole Osborne had several children born in Lee Co.,KY The three oldest children of Bass Osborne - namely William, Robert Lee and Hester Marie are thought to be of a previous marriage.(wife unknown) Could "Bass" possibly have been a nickname for Columbus?? Does anyone have anything that would point in that direction? The LDS site lists Bass as a son of Andy and Americ
2. Re: [OSBORNE-L] Iowa Osborne [1]
Dear Darlene, I know it has been a while since your inquery, but I haven't had much time for genealogy lately. :( You might start with John Osborne in Linn Co., IA. My own branch migrated to Delaware Co., IA from Clay County, IL. Henry & Mary Schott Osborne. Henry's parents were Silas & Nancy Jane Lee Osborne. None of the names you mention ring a bell, but you never know. Have you checked the Shell Lake papers for an obituary for Martha? Also the funeral home & Sexton of the cemetery? Evelyn
3. [OSBORNE-L] Osborne Origins update [1]
If you have not visited the Osborne Origins website recently, I have added a few new biographies, updated other biographies to complete transcripts, and have added some Ohio census data. I have also just completed a redesign of the Linked Family records as well as added some new info to it. The site now makes use of multiple browser windows. The main window is used mainly for navigation. Source records will show up in another window and family groups in a third window. It is best (almost necessary) tha

5. [OSBORNE-L] Update to Osborne Origins Update [1]
All, I have fixed the problem which caused the Osborne Origins website to be unavailable. It seems that in my earlier upload, one file somehow was deleted and I did not detect this. For everyone's benefit, I am giving the Osborne Origins address again -- http://home.att.net/~osborne_origins. Lee
6. Re: [OSBORNE-L] Osborne's United - Thanks to all of you! [1]
Congrats on your find. I know I have relatives out there somewhere but I can't find them. I am searching for Osbourn(e)'s from Prince Georges County Maryland. I think they may connect to the Baltimore/Harford County Maryland Osborne's but no proof at this time. The furthest back I go is John Osbourn married Sarah Magruder in 1788, PG Co. MD. Their children Thomas abt. 1790, Richard 1793 (my line), Serey, Eleanor, Mary abt. 1800, Ann, and an unnamed infant in Thomas Magruder's will of 1808. Richard mar

12. [OSBORNE-L] Osborne's United - Thanks to all of you! [1]
So many of you have helped me research my OSBORNE line that it is impossible for me to thank you all individually - but I hope you know who you are........ I would like to let you know, that you all have helped unite part of a family that was separated over 50 years ago. This week-end my son-in-law's father and aunt will meet a nephew they did not know existed. Both families "doubted" that they were really related, until with the help of all of you I was able to give them enough proof that they really belon
