3. Re: [PACEN] Lawrence County/1910/Davis [1]
Hi Kathy, Sorry I wasn't more helpful. Did he come as a child and stay with relatives first? or did he come as an adult? You may want to try the City Directory lists and see if they can pinpoint him in the census years 1910, etc. Jennifer In a message dated 7/11/2005 8:37:01 AM Eastern Daylight Time, cassandra_borgia@hotmail.com writes: Hi Jennifer, Thank you for looking for my family. 10. 1820-Philadelphia-BAKER [1]
Woo Hoo! Another lead!!! :) Good morning to you all! Could someone try to find the 1820 census in Philadelphia for a widow? Her surname is BAKER. I found her on the 1820 city directory as the widow of my ancestor Jacob BAKER. It did not list her given name. She was livina at N. 8th St. at the time. I belive that might be in the Spring Garden section, but I'm unsure. Her given name might be Mary. I would guess that she would be in her 40s or 50s. Thanks for anything you can provide! 13. Marijean - Woods, Clifton [1]
Hello Marijean, Thank you for the information on the Clifton Family. I believe that this is the family I am looking for although I was surprised to find them living in Florida as there was no mention of them having lived anywhere but Phila. I would appreciate it if you could locate Agnes Woods in Phila. in 1920. I do not know if she was married to Franklin Clifton at that time. If she was not married in 1920 it is a possibility that she was living with her sister, Susan (Woods) Rodgers in Phila. Tha
14. Re: [PACEN] 1810 / Somerset / HILEMAN [1]
Although alphabetically he should appear on the bottom of the first page, it does appear that sheets 438 and 439 are missing. Perhaps he was on the next sheet 438, at the end of the "H". Letters I -L are missing. There are 119 families in Addison, I tried pulling up the "L" names and still got the same first page. I would guess the page is missing or misindexed. Henry Hilman is also missing.. Perhaps someone with Ancestry has it indexed correctly.. Jennifer In a message dated 7/4/2005 2:57:37 AM East
