I have a great-grandmother named Susan Andrews Morrow, who was born November 23, 1877 in Philadelphia. I think her middle name was the last name of one of her ancestors, but I don't know who that ancestor might be. Susan's father was Henry Morrow (January 28, 1832 - February 12, 1928), and her mother was Mary Ann McMillan (August 20, 1835 - November 15, 1885). Henry and Mary Ann are buried in section 105 of Mount Moriah Cemetery in Philadelphia, along with other people with the surnames Morro

Dear Mr. Shisler, I'm not sure how your email reached me, but it's always interesting to hear from somone whose family are buried at Mt. Moriah. I'll take a look for your ancestors' graves next time I visit the cemetery. I am one of a very small group of people -- we call ourselves the Mt. Moriah Preservation Society -- who recently produced a short documentary about the cemetery. We are not historians or genaeologists; rather, we came together out of our shared sadness for the sorry state of the cemeter
