My grandparents gravestone is the low one nearest the road. The road is
covered with overhanging trees and weeds. The grass has not been mowed.
This is one of the better sections of the cemetery.

A few months ago I tried sending a picture to the eMail distribution list. My eMail was distributed without the picture attached.
The didn't may be set up to remove attachments. The pictures should be posted an another site (Flikr is good) with a link to the site sent to the distribution list.
I hope this helps.
I have been to Mount Moriah Cemetery as recently as a week ago. Some dumping debris has been removed, but there is still plenty remaining, including tires and old furniture.

I just learned my maternal GGPs were buried at Mount Moriah Cemetery. I
live in Florida now and understand that Mount Moriah is badly neglected.
If I understand the situation correctly, the management will not tell you
where your family was buried. If this is so, can anyone please tell me how
to find out the location of the graves from Florida.
They are Morris Cooper buried 12 Jan 1911 and
Margaret Cooper buried 28 Feb 1910.
They buried a son in 1894, another Morris Cooper
I understand the PGS now h
Just searched the db and found no Coopers buried in 1910 and no Morris Cooper at all.

I suggest that the database is probably inaccurateB - both Morris' obituaries show that they are in Mt. Moriah.

Thank you Warren and everyone else. I learned about them from the obits
which I just found on Gen Bank. I also found an obit for their son Morris
in 1894 again at Mount Moriah. I found 2 others which I can't place but
had funerals at Morris Cooper's and then off to Mount Moriah for them also
and a William Clark all of whom might be buried nearby. If you would not
mind, please check for
William Clark 1904
Isabella Hollingsworth 1887 and
Isabella H Roatch 1887 all family and all suppos
Hi Ted, I know this is forward of me but can you look up 3 obits for me? If

Turner, dod June 4, 1936 and Clarence S. Turner dod ? he died in Alabama.
And a Walter Meade Turner who died in San Francisco. Thank you.

Ted, thank you!! I knew Emeline was in Mount Moriah but have never
been able to find exactly where. Do you know if there is a map of the
cemetery divided into sections and lots? I rarely make it to Philly
but you never know.
Many thanks,
Gail
Hi,
I checked the Mt. Moriah records and didn't find exact names corresponding
to your gg grandparents, but I did find two Margaret Coopers, one with a
burial date of Feb 1899 and one with a burial date of Mar 1900.
There are also two Coopers listed with no first names, one buried in Jan
1884 and one in Apr 1884.
Perhaps your ancestors are among those whose stones are missing or
illegible.
Good luck in your search.
Barbara
