[Apologies for cross posting.] Dear Friends: Every year around Memorial Day, Mount Moriah is fortunate to receive the attention of some very dedicated individuals who will once again be visting the cemetery to plant flags for veterans and also to do some general cleanup of the place. Mount Moriah Cemetery is home to two large veterans plots: the Satterlee Civil War Plot and the Naval Administration plot. There are many Medal of Honor recipients buried there, including several who do not have headstones. In addition, hundreds of veterans are buried throughout the larger cemetery.
