The SAR knows the Revolutionary War soldiers in Mt. Moriah and the SUVCW knows who the Civil War soldiers are.The important people buried in Mt. Moriah are also known.
How many hundreds of thousands of dollars would a vendor table be able to raise? Who would be petitioned to clean up the cemetery?
Both Philadelphia and Delaware Counties are aware of the situation in Mt. Moriah.

I have an idea to get Mt. Moriah cemetery upgraded in importance. Now that the Historical Society of PA and the Genealogical Society of PA have the burial records online we could try to find important people who are buried there. Civil War and Revolutionary War soldiers are certainly important, and if we could come up with a count of how many are there maybe it could be designated as a historical site. The is a large genealogy conference in Philadelphia next September and it would be great to have a vend

The following notations are all from the Philadelphia Inquirer. It's really
just a list of people that I found interesting. All were buried in Mount
Moriah or are related to someone buried in Mount Moriah. I initially tried to
find famous people but as I read obituaries I realized that every day people
often have very interesting stories to tell. They are in no particular order.
