I am looking for records of a Maria Louisa Hicks. She was Maria Louisa Hill. She married Charles Hicks. I believe Charles died in the 1880's and Maria Louisa Hicks died in the 1920's (she was much younger than he was) I think that they might have buried in one of the quaker cemeteries in Bucks county, or possibly Philadelphia. Can anyone help? She also went by "Louisa" very often. Even "Louise".

Louisa Hicks was born Louisa (Maria Louisa) Hill about 1834. She married Charles Hicks who died in the 1880's. Charles Hicks was born about 1816 to Charles and Elizabeth Hicks in Philadelphia PA. My reasoning is that Charles Hicks when he died, was buried with his mother and father. My thinking is that they may have be
Hello. This is my first time on this mailing list. I have been doing alot of research on James McVay Jr, born 1786 in Washington County, PA, died in Fayette Cty, Ohio in 1859. He married Keziah Marshall, born 1787, died 1860.
No marriage date has been found thus far. I suspect they or James's father (James McVay Sr; born 1754 on Phil.) married out of faith--converting from a basis of Presbyterianism to becoming Quakers.
Does anyone have knowledge of these persons?
I am really looking for marriage dates
I found the my ancestor William G LINVILLE and his wife Elizabeth in the old Catawissa friends meeting house cemetery in Columbia County PA.
They have very good head stones.
They lived in the community of Roaring Creek for their whole lives.
He was born July 7 1816 and died Feb 1 1902
And his wife March 3 1825 died Jan 31 1916 .
I have her picture after William dies between 1902 and 1916 she is dressed as a Quaker would of dressed in those days.
She was probably an ESPY.
In the same cemetery two othe
