I am wondering if anyone has information on James Hamer who came to

I found a reference to a John Easto (that's how it is spelled) in the Wills of
Chester Co.,PA
1713-1748. Edward Smith of Darby 3/10/1730 stated he had bought land from John
Easto in Londongrove. Don't know what year that was.

ELIZABETH PREMM was b. c. 1720-1730. Her exact birth place is not

She married JOHN EYANSON (aka I'Anson, etc.) c. 1749. He was b. c.

Elizabeth and John emigrated to America in 1742 and settled initially in

Thanks for the site info on GenHome.
I have a question concerning the Studio area and in particular, the list of
Welsh marriages within it.
As many of these Welsh immigrants were or became Quakers, will dates that
are Quaker be posted as found in the records, rather than converting to the
current calendar?
Personally, I believe they should not be changed as confusion and errors
occur. For this reason, I would ask that they remain as found in Quaker
records. IF this is not the desire of the site man

I think the descendants of Griffith John kept the name John for the most
part. At least that's the information I've been able to uncover. I'm
descended from Griffith's brother Samuel (b abt 1680 in Pembrokshire).
Anyone have any information on that branch of the family tree? I also am
looking into purchasing the book. Hope she has a copy left for me!
Cheers!

I've just subscribed, though I don't know if my connections are early enough
for your attention - they're certainly Welsh enough.
I'm trying to find out what happened to my great grandfather William LEIGH
who emigrated to Pennsylvania (according to family legend) after the death of
his wife Esther around 1881. He left a baby William Henry LEIGH, who was
brought up by his father's mother, but we know nothing else other than that
he remarried and had another family in the States.

I am looking for James DAVIS/DAVID born about 1761 and who died 10 September, 1850, in Fayette County, Pa. I believe that he married Keziah PHILLIPS, a daughter of Samuel PHILLIPS and Keziah ABRAHAM, possibly in or near Chester County, Pa. It is stated that James DAVIS/DAVID lived with an uncle at Valley Forge, Pa. during the Revolutionary War. Samuel and Keziah (ABRAHAM) PHILLIPS are buried in the Great Valley Baptist Cemetery near Devon, Pa. Keziah PHILLIPS had a sister, Leah PHILLIPS, who married to John
