Hugh I found a reference to a John Easto (that's how it is spelled) in the Wills of Chester Co.,PA 1713-1748. Edward Smith of Darby 3/10/1730 stated he had bought land from John Easto in Londongrove. ELIZABETH PREMM was b. c. 1720-1730. Her exact birth place is not known, but family tradition says that Elizabeth was Welsh. It has been suggested that the name may be PRYNE or PRIME, names which are found in the area of Cheshire/Wales. She married JOHN EYANSON (aka I'Anson, etc.) c. 1749. He was b. c. 1725, possibly in or near Dublin, Ireland. Elizabeth and John emigrated to America in 1742 and settled initially in Baltimore, MD. 10. [P-W-E] GenHome and Request [1]
Thanks for the site info on GenHome. I have a question concerning the Studio area and in particular, the list of Welsh marriages within it. As many of these Welsh immigrants were or became Quakers, will dates that are Quaker be posted as found in the records, rather than converting to the current calendar? Personally, I believe they should not be changed as confusion and errors occur. For this reason, I would ask that they remain as found in Quaker records. IF this is not the desire of the site man

I think the descendants of Griffith John kept the name John for the most part. At least that's the information I've been able to uncover. I'm descended from Griffith's brother Samuel (b abt 1680 in Pembrokshire). Anyone have any information on that branch of the family tree? I also am looking into purchasing the book.
