Pam,
I have:
Samuel Burnside in Butler County, PA married to Mahala J. Gallagher, d/o
James C. Gallagher, Sr., b. 1781 Ireland and wife Mary Albright. They came
to Muddy Creek Township, Butler, and settled in Franklin Township, Butler
County.
Elizabeth Burnside (or possibly Sharp) married to Lanbert Morrison b. 1821,
s/o William Morrison b. May 15, 1781 Hagerstown, MD, d. Lawrence County
I would be willing to look. I also have a book on old German Script which
might help. I had a man in Germany tell me the wrong letter once and he worked
in the archives. So it can be tricky.
Good luck. Judy
My sister in-law was Shirley V. Ayers and she had a brother Bill Ayers They

I'm looking for relatives/links to Ambrose S Kemper, born 1882, Butler PA. This is research for my husband's dad, Paul Kemper... and the info I have is pretty much 2nd hand right now.
>From the 1920 Census forms and draft registration card of 1911, it looks like Ambrose lived with relatives Fred E and Bertha Wigton (he's listed as Brother-in-law).
He was a RR worker.
His father was Bernard Kemper. His mother's maiden name was Hertz. His mother had a femail relative named Magdalena Hertz.

the site has not been the same -- very little info on other than the meetings.
I am not being critical, please understand. I am just wondering. Is the
other Butler site continuing to upload material? Thanks. Sylvia
Did you know that they will be passing an increase in the Death & Birth certificates in PA??
It was on the news tonight: It's already passed the Senate and will go to the House on Monday---Just thought If you had any you wanted to get , that now would be
a good time.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR

Sylvia,
I think everyone's just busy with the holidays right now. The website

Just a reminder of tonight's Genealogical Society meeting.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room on the basement
level of the Butler Area Public Library, 218 North McKean Street. See you
there!
I am compiling a book on the GARDNERS, MC ANALLENS/MC ANALLYS, RALSTONS and ROHRERS of Butler County.
Thanks to the Internet, I have received information and photos from other Gardner, McAnallen, Ralston and Rohrer researchers. We are working together to compile a book as accurate and complete as possible. Since we believe that our James Gardner came from Westmoreland Co., the book will also include a lot of information on the Gardners and Teals of Westmoreland County, PA. Our James may have been

Requesting assistance from someone who can read the German language. Have a
certified copy of the death certificate for my husband's great grandmother but
because I do not know the German language, can't quite make out the spelling

The Albert Family Tree web site at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~albert
has been updated and contains current data up through this date. The
overall format and method that the web site uses to present the
genealogical data has been changed substantially as well, the data
privatized where appropriate as well as being made a lot simpler to use,
search and navigate.
The usage part was accomplished by changing from the web generating GedPage
software over to the Dynamic Family Tree program. Dynamic Fa
Hi...
I don't guess they connect, in view of the
spelling. Ordinarily I would say spellings don't
much matter - but for some reason with my line,
unless the person was dead, they 100% spelt
it AYRES rather than AYERS. Still, I do list one
or two in Allegheny county, and so I will check.

I don't list a Harold, either, but I am interested. Can she go back one

it may be fairly large.

There are no Beighley's in my family line but I do remember a James Beighley
that I went to school with in Grove City, (Mercer County). We graduated in
1975 and his father was a pastor/minister at a church in Grove City. Hope
this is some help.
Good Luck,

Hello All!
Because I was receiving large volumes of spam, I was forced to purchase an
email filtering service. When anyone sends me an email (including emails
that are sent to the lists to which I subscribe), they will receive a reply
requesting that they authenticate who they are. This is the way to prevent
spam, as it is usually sent out by a computer. A computer cannot reply to
the requests because you have to see and type the random letters that appear
on the authentication screen. You will only h

Once again, I have found some time to do some lookups for anyone who is
interested. The area that I have the most resources for is Butler County,
so please keep that in mind with your request. Following are the resources
I have at my disposal at this time. Please review the general rules I set

I have census CDs for:

Any idea?
