Fellow list members: I have recently received correspondence from someone trying to locate information about the former "Conemaugh High School." In particular, she is looking for a list of graduating seniors from that school in 1916. Does anyone out there have this information, or any ideas where she could obtain it? Martha, While at the Cambria County Historical Society this summer I found this information from the Ebensburg Sky, Nov 8, 1832. Michael Rager b. 7 Apr 1759, Lancaster Co., PA, m. Mrs. Mary Rager, d. Mar 1840, Jackson Twp., PA. Michael died 1 Nov 1832, Jackson Twp., Cambria Co., PA, buried: Lambaugh Cem. Jackson Twp. no stone. Died in a fire at his house. Michael was the 1st settler in Jackson Twp. He served in the Revolution under Washington. He enlisted in 1775 for 3yrs w/ Capt. Abraham DeHuff & 3rd

I'm searching for kin to Chas. Lloyd WERTZ and his wife Katherine SCHMITT. They were married in 1924 and had one daughter that I know of Bettie WERTZ in Apr 1926. Chas. parents Winfield and Harriet Alice CLAAR were originally from Bedford Co. but appeared on the 1910 census for Altoona, Blair Co. Both Chas. and Katherine were previously married, but spouses were not on their marriage record at the Hollidaysburg Courthouse. I believe Chas. died in Beaverdale.
